Over 600 dengue cases daily in India, 303 died in '22

The spread of dengue in India increased by over 1,312 per cent since the first major outbreak in 1996. According to data compiled by the National Centre for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), 303 dengue patients died in 2022.
