KGMU doctor becomes member of high-security interface technical advisory group of WHO

​​​The WHO initiated a call in August 2022 for individuals interested in joining the HSI-TAG that has 18 members in wake of Covid-19 pandemic to assess similar threats. Prof Awasthi, a pediatrician and epidemiologist with over 35 years of experience, applied along with many others from across the globe.
