AI is a cure and curse for PGI: Fine for patient care, but not for thesis

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh has issued an order stating that a thesis written using generative AI tools will not be accepted. While the hospital is using AI for patient care and queue management, the administration believes that AI assistance in thesis writing compromises originality and academic standards.
