Uzbekistan cough syrup deaths: India allows factory to reopen

Marion Biotech, whose cough syrups in Uzbekistan were linked to the deaths of 65 children last year, has been permitted to resume most of its production by the drug controller of Uttar Pradesh. The state drug controller informed that there is no known case of a lack of quality in other medicines manufactured by the firm.
