Breakthrough IVF baby turns dad at same hospital in Mumbai

A Chembur couple welcomed their lone kid over thirty years ago after a "scientific breakthrough" that addressed male sterility led to his conception. Luv Singh, the child, became the first intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) baby in India. This happened two years after a comparable birth in Belgium and nearly eight years after India's first test-tube baby, Harsha Chavda-Shah, was born.
