694 senior medical officers get appointment letters; min says 6k more docs to be hired

Over the last 10 days alone, more than 8,800 doctors and nurses have been recruited, the minister said. This includes the appointment of 1,450 doctors and specialists, 228 of whom received appointment letters on May 31.
